Excellent EDC
YouTube videos suggest using a 1/8” roll punch to remove the grip panel pin. 1/8” is too large. HK specifies a 2.8mm or 7/64” roll punch which is only available in the US in sets costing $75 or directly from HK also at $75. A 3/32” works well. You may have a few malfunctions during the break in period using 115 grain ammunition. HK recommends using either 124 or 147 grain for the first 300 rounds. The pistol is extremely accurate. 4” groups at 20 yards (1 second per shot) is not that difficult. I use a Vedder LightTuck AIWB holster and it’s very comfortable and concealable with only a T-shirt (I’m 5-9 150). The only change that I would make is a fiber optic front sight and black rear sight. The grip texture isn’t a problem against bare skin if you live in a warm climate.

My First Gun
After researching and watching countless videos, I decided to go with the VP9SK. After months of trying to find it (out of stock everywhere), found it at Omaha Outdoors. One of my best friends also said this was an amazing gun. Very accurate, even for a first time shooter like myself! Feels great in my hand and the action is smooth like silk! It took about a week to get it once I placed the order and picked it up at my local FFL with no issues. Randomly see it go in and out of stock so this gun goes quick!

Conceals well, shoots like the full size, and accurate. A bit more thiccc than a P365 or G43x but for me it’s perfect. In my opinion the charging wings and striker window are useless, sight picture looks much better with the wings removed and a solid slide cap.
